The teams from Dublin City North and South Volunteer Centres want to extend our appreciation to all those who were involved in Dublin City Volunteer Week 2008.
We were delighted with all of the appreciation events happening across the city as well as the involvement of organisations and volunteers alike in the Multicultural Volunteer Fair.
The aim of the week was to celebrate and recognise the many diverse and innovative ways volunteers from all backgrounds get involved in making our city a safer, cleaner, healthier, more entertaining, caring and involved place to be. We have been thrilled with the participation of organisations, volunteers and the general public in all of the events on the calendar for the week.
We feel that this second year event was a huge success and are looking forward to building and growing from this year’s events and making next year even better!
